At first I was a bit nervous, and I think I used eye-contact with the camera and the audience not just one. I think I looked at my page a bit too much. Next time i will memorize it more.

Obento The Greatest Food On Earth

On Thursday the 10Th of September we were delighted to see Mrs Witham walking down to primary with a big box.  As soon as she arrived to the courtyard she unwrapped the foil around the Box and out came Some Japanese lunch we were finally having OBENTO!!!!! We were all super excited. Soon after when we all got our obento we started to dig in and eat! It was super nice

 ( all except the Raw Octopus, YUK) Then when we were finish we thanked Mrs Witham for the Fantastic food and went to play.

Thanks Mrs Witham for this wonderful opportuniy to taste this lovely Japanese Food!

Shimul and Jesse's timetable

Hi from Totoro,

Two of my great friends Shimul and Japanese Jesse have made a timetable of their morning life before school which happens most of the time. the time of the event is in Japanese.                                                                                                       Shimul and Jesse’s timetable


Roku ji desu (6:00) – Roku ji juppun desuo (7:10) We wake up, brush and get changed

Nana ji nijuppun desu (7:20) We eat breakfast and get ready for school and get in the car

Nana ji yonjuppun desu (7:40) We start of for school

Hachi ji desu (8:00) We arrive at school

Hachi ji han desu (8:30) I start school and give Jesse to the next person in line for him (maybe)

In London

Hello All,

Sorry we haven't been that great on the email front. It has been hard at times to get to cafes. We spent three weeks in France and had a wonderful time. Paris was fantastic with lots to see and do. We then went to a place called Le Mans, which is where they have the 24 hour car race. After that to Vannes on the west coast of France - you may have to look that up on a map! We visited three different schools in France and it was fantastic. Maybe one day you will get to go there to school. After France we went to Ireland, it was great after six weeks to be in a country where everyone spoke English, mind you the accent was difficult to understand at times. We are currently back in London for a few days, before we go to Malaysia then home. I will put up lots of photos when we get home.

CHAC Grade 5 NAPLAN test week

Hi Totoro,
Today we did a NAPLAN test it was hard but the bad thing is that we have to do more tests tomorow and the next day. The test are about maths, writing and spelling. Today we did spelling and writing. We hope it does not get harder. I hope you have a good time at school. The whole class is missing you. The grade 4s are having a great time and the grade 5s are having a good time too. Mrs.Thomas is missing you too. I hope you are having good day and seeing lots of things in Europe. Thanks for the postcard from Edinburgh!
